Presidium refractive index meter ii (prim ii) is a premium portable desktop device that utilizes the properties of reflectivity accurately verify diamonds, diamond simulants and synthetics, and coloured gemstones.

Unlike a traditional refractometer, PRIM II can measure the range of refractive index values from 1,000 to ~3,000, covering the commonly known gemstones in the market, including diamonds and moissanite. Testing is fast and easy, without RI liquid’s inconvenience and messy usage. The included software enables the user to eliminate the list of possible colored gemstones by entering known values such as color, hardness, and S.G. value.
